3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 We saved him and his family from the great affliction, 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Peace on Noah among all men. 79 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 80 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was on the self-same way (as Noah). 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 What aileth you that ye speak not? 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones. 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 Peace be on Ibrahim. 109 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113
