3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 while it is Allah Who has created you and all that you make?” 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called out to him: "O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves. 113
