3/4 Hizb 45

And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 and We made his seed the survivors, 77 And left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ Of his party was also Abraham; 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? 85 “What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?” 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 But they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he turned towards their gods and said: "Why do you not eat (of these offerings)? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be on Ibrahim. 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 truly, he was one of Our faithful servants. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
