Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 and We established for him a good name among posterity. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all beings!' 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Of his party was also Abraham; 83 Behold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What then is your opinion of the Lord of the Worlds? 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 Why do you not speak?" 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? 95 "When God has created you and what you make?" 96 "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the raging fire." 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allah), so look what you think!" He said: "O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Insha' Allah (if Allah will), you shall find me of As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)." 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
