3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 And, his progeny, them We made the survivors (i.e. Shem, Ham and Japheth). 77 and We established for him a good name among posterity. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all beings!' 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds' 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)." 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 And he turned upon them smiting them with his right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
