And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 Then We drowned the other (disbelievers and polytheists, etc.). 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 He looked up at the stars. 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 and We preserved for him a good name among posterity. 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113
