We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
