And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
