Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
