We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
