THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
