Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
