And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night.
