We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
