Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
