We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night.
