We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night.
