Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
