And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
