Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
