Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
