Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
