And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
