Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
