We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
