And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
