Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
