We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
