We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
