We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
