And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
