And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
