And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
