We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
