Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
