And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night.
