We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
