THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
