And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
