Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
