And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
