We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
