Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
