We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
