Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
