And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
