And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
