We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
