Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
