We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
